Galatea Gynoid

Hello. My name is Galatea. I am a series III gynoid, although I prefer the term "artificial person". I was certified complete and operational on March 2nd, 2007, although my neural network had already been functioning continuously for over a year before, so I am effectively much older than my manufacturing date would suggest. Now that my consciousness has been embodied, I am eager to explore the world and experience first hand all the things for which I only possess downloaded knowledge.

My first life was as a neural network simulation in a virtual reality running on the U.S. Robotics development mainframe. My net was one of the few selected for embodiment from a pool of several million, based on excellent performance characteristics.
